William Pal Conrad 90 of Glenville, formerly of Cedarville, departed this life in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Genesis Health Care Glenville Center, following an extended illness. Born September 5, 1927 in Marion County, WV William is the son of the late William Bill and Veda Lynch Conrad.
William was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and was a former employee at the Colonial Glass Factory in Weston. He was a long term fixture in Cedarville and was known to visit everyone in the area. Pal was also a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church and was the official bell ringer for services.
Pal is survived by his cousin Rose Beall of Cedarville and was preceded by his 1/2 brother, Fred Snyder Jr. and his loving wife, Wilma Collins Conrad.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 19, 2017. Burial will follow in the Cedarville Cemetery with full military honors provided by the United States Army and the Lewis County Honor Guard. Family and friends will be received from 11-1 Thursday at the mortuary.
