Nancy Jo Peggs McCord 62 of Glenville departed this life at 1:40 AM; Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following an extended illness. Nancy was born January 29, 1955 in Lewis County, WV.
Nancy was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, living the quiet life in Gilmer County, and spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible.
Nancy is survived by her son, Steven McCord of Woodbridge, VA; and 2 Grandchildren, Seanna McCord and Rodney P. McCord Jr. of Dusk Camp.
Preceding Nancy in death is her son, Rodney P. McCord, who departed this life on July 16, 2016.
Per her request, Nancy will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at 11:00 AM; Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Sand Fork with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating.
