Rosa Irene Hardman White, 77 of Glenville, WV (Spruce Run Community) departed this earthly life in the morning hours of Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her residence following short illness. She was born November 15, 1944 in Pullman, WV; daughter of the late Okey Hardman and Myrtle Langford Hardman. Rosa is a graduate of Normantown High School, Class of 1963. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family, cooking, decorating cakes, crocheting, working with crafts, listening to bluegrass music, and she is a Christian by faith. Rosa was united in marriage to Olen James “Buck” White who preceded her in death on December 23, 2008. Surviving are 3 grandchildren, Tiffany Moore of Orlando, WV; Dakota Goodrich of Leland, NC; and J.J. White of Colorado, 3 Step-children, Ronnie White, Dawn Schwumb and Ronda Ortega and 2 great-grandchildren, Lexie and Wyatt Wheeler. Also surviving are 3 siblings, Alan Hardman (Connie) of Burnsville, WV; Deward Hardman Jr. (Diane) of LaGrange, OH; Kenneth Hardman (Joan) of Roane Co., WV; and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends. Along with her husband and parents, Rosa is preceded in death by her daughters, Edith Helmick and Jennifer Hook, grandson, James Darren Goodrich, and siblings, Lillian Gidley, Michael Hardman, and numerous other half brothers and sisters. The families’ request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of life will be conducted at a late date.
