Winnie Louise “Midge” Pritt, 80 of Linn, WV; (Ellis Community) departed this earthly life after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family in the afternoon hours of Sunday, July 31, 2022 at her Ellis Road home.

She was born February 20, 1942 in Linn, daughter of the late Hoy Cecil and Eva Justine Radcliff.

Winnie is a graduate of Sand Fork High School, class of 1961. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and she was a member of the Upper Ellis United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

On December 16, 1961 Winnie was united in marriage to Perry Lee Pritt, who survives at their home in Linn.

Along with her husband of 60 years, Winnie is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly Pritt of Linn and Patty Louise Montgomery and husband Jeffrey of Sand Fork, WV, and 2 grandchildren, Kayla and Patrick Montgomery of Sand Fork.

Also surviving are 3 siblings, William Hoy Radcliff of Linn, Wilma Lea Myers and husband Charles of Linn, and Nancy Lea Moody of Glenville, very special friend, Vanessa Lloyd of Crawford, WV; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.

Along with her parents, waiting on her arrival at the pearly gates is her sister, Betty Jo Sprouse, 2 brother-in-laws, Raymond Moody and Sherwood Sprouse, sister-in-law, Wanda Radcliff, and 2 nieces, Sharon Kay Myers and Melissa Diane Moody.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of WV Caring Hospice for taking such good care of Winnie.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV; 26351 at 11:00 AM; Thursday, August 4, 2022 with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiney Cemetery near Linn. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM; Wednesday evening at the Mortuary in Glenville.
